Abstract

The criminal justice system has got a new wheel as the deep learning algorithm combined with artificial intelligence technology has added a new dimension in making predictions of future crimes and also predicting with whom they could be rehabilitated by. This paper focuses on analyzing how deep neural networks, convolutional neural networks serve as AI-based technologies for predictive policing and criminal rehabilitation in the whole of Indian context. Artificial Intelligence enhances justice system results with the crime pattern analysis and offender recidivism forecast while also reporting better rehabilitation programming. The actual bags in this technology cause moral issues that incorporate breaking individuals privacy duties alongside biases that come with algorithms being inadequate legal framework. The paper surveys various AI-based possibilities and challenges that touch the Indian criminal justice system as a crucial review which suggests both moral ways and productive implementation means.
