Processing Charges
Traditional journals operate solely on a reader-pays model, with institutional libraries paying for content access. NLR, on the other hand, publishes only complete open access journals. All articles published in the journal are available to the scholarly community and the general public for free. This means that NYAAYSHASTRA LAW REVIEW does not profit from the sale of subscriptions to the printed or online copies of the papers it publishes. As a result, the NYAAYSHASTRA LAW REVIEW is able to cover the following publication services by collecting Article Processing Charges from authors:
-
Peer review, administrative support, commissioning content, and journal development are all examples of editorial activity.
-
Development, maintenance, and operation of an online journal system and websites are examples of technical infrastructure and innovation.
-
Article production includes formatting and mark-up, as well as submission to indexing services.
-
Journal and content marketing: ensuring that readers and authors are aware of the work published in the title.
-
Responding to authors and readers as a customer service representative.
